This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel services with Rocket Science Productions LLC and how cancellations apply to recurring billing arrangements set up through our platform.
1. Cancellation by Providers
Provider clients may cancel their service engagement with Rocket Science Billing at any time, subject to the notice period agreed during onboarding (typically 30 days).
How to Cancel
- Email support@rocketsciencebilling.com with the subject “Cancellation Request” and your business name.
- We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and confirm the effective cancellation date.
- We will complete a final reconciliation, finalize any outstanding payouts (subject to clearing of pending chargebacks), and provide a handoff packet of your records.
Effects of Cancellation
- You will no longer be charged service fees after the effective cancellation date, except for fees accrued before that date.
- Active recurring billing schedules you have set up for your end customers will be paused, transferred, or wound down per your instructions during offboarding.
- Refunds, if any, follow our Refund Policy.
2. Cancellation of End-Customer Recurring Charges
If you are an end customer with a recurring charge that was set up for you by a provider through Rocket Science Billing:
- Contact the provider first. The provider sets the terms of the subscription (frequency, amount, cancellation rules) and is best positioned to cancel or modify the schedule.
- If you cannot reach the provider, contact us at support@rocketsciencebilling.com and we will help facilitate cancellation.
- Cancellation typically takes effect immediately on confirmation. Charges already processed for completed billing periods are generally non-refundable, except as required by the provider’s own terms or by law.
3. Auto-Renewal Disclosure
Recurring billing arrangements set up through our Services automatically renew on the schedule agreed at the time of authorization (e.g., monthly or annually) until cancelled. The amount, frequency, and cancellation method are disclosed at the time of authorization and on subsequent receipts. Where applicable, we and our provider clients comply with state-level auto-renewal laws (including California’s Automatic Renewal Law and similar laws in other states).
4. Suspension by Rocket Science Billing
We may suspend recurring charges or our Services if required to do so by law, by our payment processors’ rules, or to prevent fraud, abuse, or material risk to either party. Where possible, we will give advance notice and the opportunity to cure.
