We act as a service provider to our business clients (independent providers and service-based businesses, the “Providers”) and process payments on their behalf from their end customers (“End Customers”). This policy covers both groups.

- Banking and payout details required to coordinate provider payouts
- Account credentials and communications with our team
- Service usage records (invoices generated, recurring plans, reporting)
From End Customers
- Name, email, phone, and billing address
- Payment-method details (card number, expiration, CVC) entered into a form hosted by our PCI-compliant payment processor — this data is transmitted directly to the payment processor and is not stored on Rocket Science Productions servers
- Transaction records (amount, date, description, status)
- Communications with our support team about billing matters

3. How We Share Information
We share personal information only as needed to operate our services:
- Third-party payment processors(currently Newtek Merchant Services and Leaders Merchant Services) — they collect, store, and process payment-method details directly. Each processor’s use of personal information is governed by its own privacy policy, available on the processor’s website.
- Provider clients— we share End Customer transaction information with the Provider on whose behalf the payment was collected.
- Service providers we use to operate the business (e.g., hosting, email delivery, analytics, accounting). Each is bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Legal and safety— when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers— in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Payment Card Data & PCI
Rocket Science Productions uses payment fields hosted by PCI-compliant third-party payment processors for all card transactions. Card numbers, CVC, and expiration dates are transmitted directly from the End Customer’s browser to the payment processor over an encrypted TLS connection. Our payment processors are PCI-DSS Service Provider Level 1 certified, the highest grade for payment processors. Rocket Science Productions never stores full card numbers or CVC values on our systems.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting record requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Transaction and payment records are typically retained for 7 years after the transaction date (the standard IRS record-retention period for business financial records).
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), other US states with comprehensive privacy laws, the European Economic Area (GDPR), and the United Kingdom (UK GDPR) have additional rights.

7. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and use of PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from your country.
